hello all. I just bought this pretty mint 76 cb550f. all stock. ive ridden it twice so far but the second time all of sudden she just lost all power. nothing. It was like someone just turned the kill switch on or the key off. Im really not good with electrics on motorcycles but hell, thats half the fun of owning an old bike right? so i was wondering if anyone had some starting points for me to find out the problem. thanks alot dudes.

Kill switch will only turn off the ignition circuit.  Ignition switch will turn off all power, including instrument lights.  Are you losing all power or just the ignition circuit?

First thing to check is the main fuse.

found the prob. there is lose connection on the little prongs that hold the fuse in. man, i new it was something small. thanks for the info
