I have Parts.... I dont need them.
« on: September 10, 2009, 09:39:31 AM »
My cousin disassembled a few 70's Hondas years back. He is cleaning out his old shop to rent and told me i am welcome to what parts i want. There is nothing great but i have a large pile of exhaust pipes. some disassembled twin motors. most of a 750, a 400 that is somewhat complete that i might look at doing something with. But basically there's just  LOTS of stock old parts. from gearing and valves to wheels and forks.  If any one lives in MA or NH and needs something i can take a look and see if I have it when i go down to look at all this and decide what i want. I don't want money just looking to help. Please don't ask for stuff you don't need as i do a lot of work on bikes and never know what i might want in the future. Just though id put it out there.

Hey Sir
I am looking for a complete set of unmolested 1978 Honda CB750 K original 4 into 4 exhaust pipes for a restoration.  I do live in MN but I'd be more than willing to compensate you for your time and shipping to get them to me. You can call me, I will PM you my number, or PM Me or reply to this forum.
Thanks

I have a 1977 CB750 super sport. I need a muffler. I just discovered mine is rusted on the bottom and there is a large hole. Have anything with a #410 on it? I'll gladly pay to get it out to me in chicago  ;DAlso, would you have a rear master cylinder in working condition? Any info would help

Much appreciated

I'm looking for a rubber "grab strap" (not really sure what the hell it's called...the one on the seat so your passenger can fly off and not drag you with them.) and also a rubber clutch lever cover... For a CB650 Nighthawk, but I am going to be optimistic and say that any old 650 or 750 bits would work.

I could use at least one pipe or a set for a 78 750K, if they are in good shape I will drive up and get them.

I'm in need of an ignition switch for a 77/78.  maybe some other stuff too.  Specifically a fuse panel side cover, and some variety of brake caliper with a non stuck bleeder bolt.
I shot you a PM earlier I think.

Hey thanks but a K4 switch has a square plug and I need a round plug. Thanks anyway. If you are in Boston let me know as we are always meeting for SOHC beer nights around the city.

cheers

Hi, I'm Hondaman...

I need at least one CB750 pipe, an HM341 with the rubber bumpers on the bottom side (this is for cylinder #2).

I could also use a whole set of 4 of the HM341 pipes for CB750 besides that one (I know I'm after the guys above, though...).
And a set of carburetors.
And some fork ears for the headlight, don't care if they are chrome or painted.
Do you have any handlebar switches for the right side of CB750? (Or, perhaps the whole handlebar assemblies with switches?).
I could use a pair of nice gauges (speedo-tach).
Do you have any side covers that say "750 Four" on them? I could use 2 pair, if you do...even if they don't have the logos...

And, Santa, while you're at it, world peace and a real job with benefits like health insurance and a 401K with matching contributions and Christmas bonuses, and...  ;D

Add my name for a 4:1 header i you've got an OEM one somewhere for a 750K. doesnt have to be pretty, just has to be usable and not interfere with my rear brake pedal.
