A guy near me with tons of cb750 parts...

What parts should I scoop up that will be compatible to my cb500f? Will all cables and such be universal. Looks like he has boxes and boxes of parts. Anybody need anything? Let me know. I will travel over there tomorrow and check it out.

I could use a set of coils. any chance you can bring a multimeter and test the continuity on them? Ill gladly toss some money your way

I'll take a 4:1 header if he's got one.  within reason that is...

I am waiting for a reply from him to see if I can get over to his garage tonight. I live in Syracuse, NY. Apparently this guy is somewhere around the Great New York State Fair. We'll see. My experience tells me that it will mostly be junk. :P

Find out what he has. It could be a gold mine of uncommon parts.

He sent me some pics of what he has. I am pretty new to the bike arena so tell me what I should grab. Again, I have a cb550. so it would have to be compatible. If anyone sees anything they want, let me know and I'll see if he still has it. He said he has had a ton of responses. Here are a few pics.

You laugh, but I actually thought about making him an offer for the whole lot. Then, after I pick through the stuff I can pass on the remnants.  8)

I could use an engine head that's not all marred up on the fins or gouged where the head meets the cylinder jugs.
