Coil Ohm Values?
« on: September 12, 2009, 04:51:34 PM »
The wires on my 73 cb500 are almost gone (too short & mushy core) so i have been looking for coils w changeable wires and i wasnt sure what ohm range i wanna be in.
anyone think they can explain how the ohm values work? (bike is 99% stock w points)

I have my eye on these Dyna coils who offer many diff resistances

For the CB500s weak charging system, you should stick with 5 ohm primary coils.
