jet sizing question/s
« on: September 11, 2009, 10:30:41 AM »
i seem to remember reading on here that the jets in our carbs correspond to metric hole sizes.if thats true i have an issue,i purchased a .42 mm drill bit and a 1.30 mm drill bit to ream out my jets.now im sure the bike is 99.9 percent stock.the drills are both smaller than the holes in my jets now.my slow jet is marked at 40 and i have a main jet marked 128.would someone verify the sizing of the jets in our carbs.

I've been told that several times here but when I was drilling out my jets they didnt seem to match up. Excersize caution before drilling. :) Maybe I was measuring wrong ???
