Gauge Rubbers
« on: December 07, 2005, 08:46:34 PM »
Dudes,

I've jerked my guages off the CB550 and am getting ready to start giving them the once over, but I've got some questions.

Here are some pics of my tach as it came off the bike, This shows a rubber ring going around the gauge. Should this be covered by another chrome ring or is this correct? Should this rubber ring be visible around the perimeter of the gauge? Does anyone know of a source or substitute for this rubber that goes around the gauge?

Regards,
DiscoEd

Oh, and by the way, is this the ring that typically gets cut?

Thank you,

If the same part from a k8 will fit i have 2
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

Yes Rubber gasket always shows, and yes again, that's the bit that gets cut.

Come on Terry....put up that photo of your work bench so he knows whats in store for him.

Quail,
I'm not sure if they will fit or not. Perhaps someone else can chime in on this. If they will fit, I'd sure like to get my claws on them. As it turns out, I'm a bit north of you.
