CB750 K0 ++++BOTM+++ Youtube Demo Video
« on: September 13, 2009, 06:13:38 AM »
I use to participate in another forum before coming to SOHC lately. They are all out of BOTM contestents, so I made this video (with photos and writeup) to compete as a help to the site. I don't think the kids over there appreciate the classics so much. Probably be pitted against a RC51 on with every high dollar performance upgrade known to man. Here I am trying to show that this 40 year old bike is smooth and powerful. My jetting is not perfect but I'm getting close to my goal. Should have it worked out shortly.

Nice movie. Kind of a crowded road with peds and traffic for a back country farm road. Were those actors or stunt pedestrians?

The tune wasn't quite that smooth at the time. Not sure if the nichel fell over. Probably could do it now after warming it up and get to about 5-6k.

Competition tied so I had to improve my video for the nickel balance...

It falls at the end from the torque making the engine leap.

Edit the movie so that you are riding through a battlezone. Have Abrams crossing the road in front of you, RPG's going off and dirt hitting the bike. Maybe even have Cheney as one of those folks on the road. Sure win.

HA!  If you call that a "leaping" engine than you really need to go look at a late-model Road King when it's idling :))

We're so spoiled :)  You especially.  Nice build.

Not looking good. Polls close tonight and the RC will probably win.
