Tubes and hoses for restoration/build
« on: September 13, 2009, 09:48:46 am »
What size hoses do I need for a restore? I am assuming I should replace them all. Do they need to be special? Should I just but a big roll and cut to size, or do they make them to length?

Depends on bike, model and what tubes, hoses and pipes you want to replace.  750's have oil lines, but most other models you only have fuel line(s), carb drain lines, breather tubes, plenum drain tube and battery overflow tubes.  The battery tube should come with every new battery.  Most bike shops buy tubing in bulk and you can buy it from them to length.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
