Just re-read your post. I guess the slides could fit in either carb. I was thinking more along the lines of the carb bodies and how they line up/fit with each other. It's the #2 carb that has the fixed slide and accelerator pump.

That's what I was Thinking when I was Putting them Back together about 3 AM this Morning when I was Half Asleep. ::) ::) I still had to take them Apart again Anyway.I don't think I got the Choke Just Right Either.I may have to Post a Picture to get help on that one. ;) I wouldn't have had a Bit of Problem if I could have gotten them Cleaned within a Couple of days of Taking them Apart.Between Work and Everything Else I didn't have time to get them back together before those Clusters of Brain Cells Died.

...the choke can be a real BeAtch to get right.  The last set I rebuilt the spring that pulls the chock flats closed was ate up do bad I finally gave up on it and just left it off.  When I start the bike I reach down and hold the flaps closed with a finger on the choke rod.  Of course its my chop so I'v got some room to get my finger in there.   ;D
