This thread reminds me of a guy I saw this summer.  He does the country (hippy) fair every year, dressed as David the Gnome.  It takes a bit to notice that he actually lost his legs at the knees.  Anyway, We saw him leave at the end of the day and he was on a big old-school harley with a sidecar and hand controls.  I have a lot of respect for folks who get out there and ride even after Bad Things happened to them.

I see the same two trikes around my area.  A red one and a black one - probably husband and wife.  I don't really care for them.  But that's just me.  I'd probably change my mind if I had one.

4 wheels?  Doesn't sound like a motorcycle.  I don't know what it would be though...

However, there is a three-wheeler that I'd love to have (and someday I will)...
The Russian Ural!

I saw one of these in my hometown once.  Didn't know they existed until I saw it.  It had a Missouri plate, and the owner rigged up some fishing rod holders to the sidecar.  It was parked in front of the local bar.  I think he was just some guy on a cross-country trip, stopping to fish occasionally and having a bite to eat at the small town bars.  I was so jealous....

The Spyder is made by BRP, Bombardier Recreation products is what that stands for I think. Bombardier is famous for inventing the snowmobile, and BRP makes the SkiDoo brand. The original Bombardier company split into several divisions making aircraft, train cars, boats/skidoos/spyders, etc.
The Spyder is essentially a wheeled snowmobile. The target market for them is snowmobile owners, who now have a similar handling machine to ride in the summer. Plus they are road legal... most places you can use a snowmobile on roads only in quite limited circumstances.
I've ridden (driven?) a Spyder and it really moves but handles totally weird if you just came off a bike. Basically just like a snowmobile - you can lean your body into corners to avoid tipover but it steers like a car with handlebars. It solves the sidecar/trike problem of hitting stuff because the widest part of it is up front where you see it as you approach a tight spot. I've seen several sidecar crashes where the hack crashed into a sign pole or building.
