Doug Henry Rides Again
« on: September 15, 2009, 08:47:20 AM »
I'm not sure how many of you guys / girls  know who Doug Henry is or what he has done for the world of motorcycles since he hails from the world of motocross and supercross. Doug is a 3 times AMA National Motocross Champion, Supercross and Supermoto champion, X-Games gold medalist and one of the nicest people on the planet. I can not do justice to the accomplishments of this truely remarkable man. This link does a great job : http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org/halloffame/hofbiopage.asp?id=377

What makes his new accomplishment so amazing is that he is paralyzed from the waist down from an accident durring a supermoto practice (oil on the track). He initially broke his back in 1995 at Budds Creek and recovered to resume racing again.  Doug is my personal hero and I hope you enjoy his story
GO DOUG !!!!
