So will there be a crawling of this site to find lost racing/tech threads to be moved to this new forum I imagine?

Yes Dave, I will be spending some time looking for lost threads but if you find one and think it should be moved, get in touch with Mark or myself.

Would the new HP forum be the appropriate place to detail my experiences with the Gentleman's Express hop-up? I'd like to have a place to put all the measurements, numbers, and results from this project, and I'm not sure if the HP forum or the Project Shop is the better place to put it.

I think there will be a fair bit of crossover.
I dont' see a problem with having hi-po builds in both the hi-po section AND the regular project build section.
No.

I to have trouble sourcing the threads, especially past builds, that deal with high performance engine builds and handling issues. I've started a basic folder where I copy and store the details of various threads for future reference. The really solid development data based on engine building and chassis modifications would be a great source and I bet would be widely read. Super idea!
