Lets see...

2-stroke + heat + electrical signal + slow starting line = crap.

I'm sorry to hear about the botched run Sam. Maybe next time You could start the bike up right before the run?

I used to get the bike warm before hand but kill it for about 2 minutes before making my timed runs. Helped with overheating and seemed to make a huge difference in response versus letting it run while waiting in limbo.

It is a 2-stroke right? I'm at work and my comp is slow sorry.

It is a two stroke HT and that is what I did, they don't like getting to hot.

The rider that had gone down the strip before me must have taken his time getting of the track, that or the time keeper not being ready.

I'm frustrated just reading your story Sam.

You need to bring your little petrol powered generator and a floor fan to keep that engine cool when sitting on the line....obviously you cannot depend on the starting line officals to do the right thing.

IIth or 12th November Rob, will be at Valdosta 13/15th then down to MS for a while.
Might be around your way around the 20th.
Hoping to start making plans in the next 2 weeks.

man, since back on the bike I've seen more deer than ever, roads are covered with gravel,
I've drug my foot and the back end has skated in the gravel. I'm about over the shakes.

The duck is running great though.

I've just put my request under my bosses door for the time off.
I'll finish work at 6am Friday 6th November and won't get back in untill 6pm Monday 14th December. That gives me 38 days to have fun and I'll only use up 18 days of my holiday entitlement.
