Hi everyone!  Came in here to see what has been happening.  Thank you for the compliments.

I really never thought i would ride on the back of a bike let alone own one.  Hubby kept trying to get on the back of his and I was not interested.  A couple Christmas's ago, I got a full face helmet and a jacket thinking why.  So, he talked me into a couple of rides on his and really enjoyed it.  I started making time for us to go on rides.

Then, I took a motorcycle course to get my license for his birthday.  What a rush!  I didn't tell him until his birthday when I showed him the class M on my license.  He could not believe it.  He was so excited, he started looking for a bike for me.

He found this one and have been in love with it since I saw it come out of the back of the truck.  He has spent a lot of time fixing, cleaning and polishing it.

Anyway, good luck to everyone in the BOTM.  I see I am in very good company.

Erika

Nope, no build thread.  I wish I had a build thread though.  I just posted when I had issues or questions - issue/question at a time.  I used the Search-Fu a lot and read read read.

If I can find one of these for myself, I will start one.  Promise.

yup, I lowered the bike.  -2 cyclex tubes and slid up the tree 1 1/8 inches for the front.  11" shorties in the back and a 16" rim in the back.  So, it was dropped about 3 inches front and back.  It rides very smooth and comfortable.  15wt fork oil to help with the rebound.  I could not find 20wt.
