350 -4 are they all the same?
« on: September 17, 2009, 10:28:05 AM »
I'm wondering if all the 350's were the same.  Did honda make a super sport model or were they all supersports?

As far as I know, the only differences between the years were colour, and perhaps some cosmetic stuff. I also think that the 350F wasn't really a  'supersport' because of the 'k' model resemblance (4-4 pipes etc.) but the nickname was added later.

The 400F however is indeed a 'supersport' model which replaced the 350F in 75'.

I guess I was miss lead by the "F".  This usually means Super sport.

I'm thinking about squeezing one into the garage.

They used the 'f' to distinguish it from the 350 twin.
F stood for 'four', in this case, I do believe. There were no supersports in 72 and 73 for the entire sohc4 lineup, I don't think.
No.

It always pops up on the local dealers parts lists as "supersport."  I don't believe it was actually supposed to be called that though..
