Holy smokes Batman!  That's crazy high.

Hope you're on the mend soon.  You'll be in my thoughts.

it's never ever been high like this, just what the doc called "high normal"

Good luck, Bucky...I hope there's 50 gorgeous nurses and only 1 ugly one !.........
Quick joke; Guy wakes-up in hospital groggy and asks nurse " Are my test#^*es black ? "
Nurse lifts the sheet to look and guy says, " Thanks for checking-out my package, hon, but do you know are my TEST RESULTS back" ? !!

Hey Jeff,
Take it easy while you're there... I hope that they can get you all straightened out.  PM me if you have web access and have any questions and need to 'ask a nurse.'  I work in the ICU.

Funny I've had like high blood pressure for years, last visit to my Doc he asked me to get the nurse to check it on the way out, normal....absolutely normal....I was so shocked I asked her to check again...normal!
I blame owning a SOHC4 for this improvement in my health, I don't have enough pressure left in my blood system after spending so much time in my shed fixing the old bike up!

News flash: SOHC4 CURES HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.

How much do you think our bikes would be worth if that hit the papers? ;D

Good luck Bucky, don't spend too much time in hospital, really sick people need them more than you. :D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Truthfully, I didn't know a person could have blood pressure that high.
I was in intensive care for 18 days one time.  That pump thing... well- see you around.   Good luck, Bub.

i refused the morphine pump. i talked my wife into bringing my meds from home if i absolutely need them. stress test this afternoon was ok. they cant figure out WHY my bp was so damn high. it's back to normal now, with no meds. (112-68) so, wtf knows?

They have a lawsuit locally for the pain pump. My friends supposed to be involved in it.

Bucky, i have my BP taken quite often because of my transplant, now i have no end of trouble getting correct readings on those machines that you strap around your arm and they automatically pump up and give a reading. I usually get the nurse to do mine manually as it seems to be more accurate. I have been doing my own obs for years and still don't like the automated BP machines. BTW mine is always around 120/80.... ;)

docs told me it's possible that severe pain, and alot of stress could have caused the dangerously high BP. lol stress? what stress?

Buck, When your pressure was elevated to that super high number, what did you feel?  What were your physical symptoms?  I am really curious as to what that felt like.
