They leave a BIG hole when they decide they don't wont to play anymore!!The rods and cam chain this engines 2 weakest pts.Put them both in.1974 and later rods didn't cause as much problems as the earlier ones.Carillo's whats going in my 1000cc build.,Bill

I had a set of Action Fours rods once and put three of the blighters through the cases at one go. Mind you, a supercharger and a strong dose of nitro (80%) helped them on their way. Carrillo or Crower rods would be a good investment.

What about the Cycle X rods, does anyone have any input on those?
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

I got a set of CycleX rods on the crank going into the turbo motor.  Haven't run 'em yet, but fit and finish is good for the money.  We'll see how they hold up, huh?
