John,
Keep asking and someone will respond, I am surprised the K8 boys in the US haven't chipped in yet. Maybe you are the only one in the UK?
What colour is the bike?

Jim,
take the filters off. It's blue. Well, dark blue,
almost black you might say, but don't it's blue.

What have I been drinking? Coffee actually. Don't touch alcohol,
might mess with my head. ;D

Michel,
So you think it's a sort of blue almost black? Anyone else want to say what colour it is?
John says it's maroon; I suppose we'll have to believe him?  ;)
Jim.

Geoff,

Sam.

It is reasonably large. Orkney mainland is devided into east and west with a narrow bit in the middle where the distance between the two shores is less than two miles. This is where I live in the Town of Kirkwall. The first timeI set of to do the whole of the mainland round the coast I was surprised to find that by the time I'd driven round the west mainland I'd already done about 65 miles.
I suppose the whole way round is about 100 miles. That does not inlude crossing the churchill barriers to the south Isles. Views are stunning of course as you would expect from any group of Islands.

Early in the year there is Motorcycle rally hear. I think around April. Often brings about 200 hardened bikers to a field in Burray. I say hardened coz you can still get snowed on and pretty cold in April hear. Especially if your tent gets blown away in the wind.  ;D

What a tuff bread we are.

I'm not in the UK but if you go back far enough Canada was actually a colony...

Anyways, I have a K8 thats an ongoing project...I can't really call it a restoration yet as it's really more of a resurrection. Damn thing sat 13 years uncovered in Canadian winters and I have been able to get her running not bad and starting to look better too...that says alot about these bikes...eventhough it is a K8 right Duster?

Duster I found that photo of you and the misses.
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.
