Does anyone know whats the loading weight on the stock rear shocks? Also when going with performance shocks whats the loading weight on those?

I was looking around online for performance shocks and found a few in between the 450 - 500 total (both) Loading Weight parameters so Im wondering whats stock and if thats to stiff or if stiffer is better?

Can't help you but mine is 475#

Thats the total (both) loading weight for the CB650 right? What year?

Yes, total weight of passenger(s) and gear for my 1979.
