I'm kind of worried about it, too.  We've already had snow in the foothills just a few miles West of Denver, and got really damn close to getting some in the city today.  We usually don't get the first snow in the area until at least the end of October.  At least it doesn't tend to stick around too long here when it does snow.

Saturday we spent the day trout fishing in the Clarks Fork Canyon north of Cody and it was about 95 degrees at around 5500 feet.  Sunday evening we were coming out of the east gate of Yellowstone in a light snow.  The next morning the Beartooth, Pryor, and Bighorn Mountains all had snow on the roof.    Went up to the Medicine Wheel in the Bighorns on Monday at around 9600 feet and froze my ass off at 30 degrees, 20mph winds, and a few inches of snow on the ground.  Yikes, winters on the way.

Hmmm, and for me it's the opposite. For last week it's chilly in the morning, but then sun all the way, and 25 celsius. Niiiiice riding weather, and me stuck behind the desk at work..  >:( >:(
Welcome to my mountains!

I wish you clowns would stop with the snow thing I've still got 2/3 of the house to side before the white stuff is brought by the snow god.

Bill, you're not going to get any snow. It all came from Canada to Colorado. We went to the Telluride Blues and Brew Festival over the weekend. The peaks got snow and we got rain, hail, and cold temps in town. Pikes Peak has been getting snow since last week. Clouds finally lifted and its a very beautiful white. Looked out the front door to see light snow with 350 temp.
