Terry,
sell the pipes for big bucks,
then sell me the rear fender if it is ok. ;D
I think you could make your $ back in no time.

michel
PS. did you ever find the seat latches you needed? If not email me & I'll call a guy that owes me in NYC.

G'Day Michel, I got lucky last night and found the frame mounted bit on Ebay for the "buy it now" price of $9.95, now all I need is the bit that bolts to the seat, and the spring. Those hinges that you put me onto arrived a week or so ago, thanks for the tip mate! Cheers, Terry. ;D

We can arrange that too James, blow the dust offa your wallet and PM me! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Terry - I reckon 500 odd bucks is OK for that. I haven't seen a second hand set of pipes here(Aust) go for much less than $800. It looks like a lot of grime & rust but looks can be deceiving. I have bought parts on e-bay that haven't looked too flash, but once I have hit them with the polishing wheels on the bench grinder they have come up pretty good.
Oh well I guess you'll have to sacrifice the time you had allocated to take the missus out now to work on the new arrival.
Was interested in your comment about the nos. sissy bar. What does it look like? How high does it sit above the seat. I have got one hanging in my shed, never fitted it. Wonder if it is anything like yours.
PS A while back you said you had headlights for a K2. I have a mismatch between an e-bay bucket from Aus. and a sealed beam unit from the US. Found out later there are different headlights for each country. Would be interested in talking to you further about this.
All the best Davo.

Hey Davo, where are you in Oz? Well it actually looks better in the pics than in real life, it's very rough, but has potential, so i'll take all the crap bits off and replace them with good used parts so I can sell it as a complete restoreable bike although Raul is probably right, I'd get more for it if I parted it out, I just can't bring myself to doing that? Re: the Sissy bar, it's about 2 feet long from memory, with a neat pad. I'll take a pic of it sitting on the bike if you'd like? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Terry - Jindivick(Flash Nick etc.) Don't go to any trouble re the sissy bar, was just curious. The one I have has a bolted in Honda name and wings arrangement. Never fitted it as I felt it sat a bit too high above the seat. Have seen photos of bikes with tall units and I reckon they look a bit ridiculous on the CB750's.
Any thoughts on the K2 headlight?

#$%* that's right, sorry Davo, I forgot where you hail from! The older I get, the more I forget, ha ha! Headlights, ok, I've got a mix of both Aussie and US sourced buckets, rims, and sealed beam unit's, what do you need? (It's thirsty work digging thru all my wonderful CB750 parts, hint hint!) Cheers, Terry. ;D

I'll have a look tonight to get my head around it again and let you know what I am looking for. Thirsty work alright. If you have something I will be able to call in and may be able to rectify the situation.

C'mon lads, put yourselves on the Frappr SOHC4 map and avoid this kind of embarassing situation!!

Harry,
Is there any way to make the location field on the 'sign up' on the SOHC a mandatory field? I know people are nervous about giving locations, but surely they wouldn't worry about stating which country they come from?
Jim.

Umm, is Hartland a very small place? If so, just put the nearest place that exists on the Frappr map; or move to a place someone has actually heard of?  :)

Never heard of it James, you sure that sign doesn't say "Terrorist Attraction"? Got any tall buildings or underground railway networks there? Ha ha, Cheers, Terry. ;D

Davo, just go down to Repco or similar and ask for a 12 volt 7 inch sealed beam unit and you will probably find it will just drop right in. I bought a Wagner, dips up and down, for my USA spec K0 that dipped to the right so had to biff it. The joke for me was that the local Honda dealer said he could source the right part from Japan 'for about $500'. A major parts supplier said he could supply for '$230 plus about $30 for shipping' but the Wagner cost me $30.....

Well it is a very nice bridge though Jimmy, and unlike a lot of tunnels, there's not much chance of a cave-in, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

London Eye, not my favourite piece of architecture in London, but I understand the view is terriffic? Falkirk Wheel, only seen that on TV, it looks amazing; shame they stuck it up in Falkirk!?  :)
