i dont really know what im doing with a motorcycle im trying to make a bobber type bike, but ive never owned a bike, or built a bike, so lets see how its coming out.. hah any input is appreciated NEW TANK IS ON THE WAY SO LETS NOT TALK ABOUT THIS ONE.
heres the beast i picked up for $500

heres it stripped

some work.

old replacement trailer fender, and a seat pan from a newer HD sport my friends dad owns mustang motorcycle seats so he hooked me up with a pan and i cut it and welded up some mounts  and got some springs ect ect

updated photos.

heres how it sits as of today, painted the fender, made some brackets for the battery ( not shown ) brackets for electrical, powdercoated the seat pan, got the seat foam made, now i need to cut it and slim it down ALOT, painted the rear frame. got a new tank tho i am skeptical of its looks..

I like how you used the swing arm in the build but if Ut was me I would cut either a design in the end of the fender like a end of a spade or round it off.  to me just looks to plane but love t he build kinda wish I had time to build a bobber.
Keep it shinny side up.

Did you build the hardtail yourself or was it a kit from somewhere?

Nice Job!...and fast too.   I like the way you made the tubes flow together.  I'd like to see it with the original tank back on for comparison.

keep up the great thread.

Would you want to sell your old green tank?

Damn fine job for someone who says they don't know what they're doing, haha. You look like you know what your doing, that has to count for something!
