Will a swingarm from a 1976 CB750 fit a frame of a 1978 Cb750?

wasnt the 76 a drum and the 78 a disc?
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

You should be able to download the Parts List from the FAQ section for both and compare part numbers.
1975 CB750K
