GAS LEAK

After storage I turned on the petcock and gas is leaking from the top of the carb bowls.

What bike/model, etc? You might try tapping the carb bodies, could be stuck floats.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

+1 on what Bob says. Give those bowls a tap. The floats tend to stick sometimes after a winter storage. Worse case there is crap in the needle valve and you have to clean it.
