Topic: I'm a moron

Started off for work this morning a bit more sleepy than normal.
Went to turn on the headlight but flicked the kill switch instead.
Took me about 5 mins to realize why the bike wouldn't restart

Did that once, gave up in disgust with electrics & took the train to work

That's why I generally disable everything except a toggle switch in place of a key....

I have to admit I have not done the kill switch deal...but I always turn off my gas valve.  Just don't turn it back on...until the bike quits in traffic.

Damn....I must be beyond a moron....I've done all of those and some I don't want to admit... like no gas in tank.... key left in park and battery dead when I went to start it...just to mention a few........  go see humor section for my song...and then you'll know what I talking about here.....

I did that once and couldn't for the life of me figure out why the damned bike wouldn't start. I actually called and had it towed to the shop. The tech came out and asked what the problem was. I said, "It won't start" and gave him the keys. He put the key in, looks at the bike, flips the kill switch and fired it up.

Talk about feeling like an idiot.
