I have no idea what was on, it's mirrored to the tv in the living room and my wife was watching some dumb crap.

Just curious, why not use a drill bit to make the holes? Seems to me that'd save you some time.

because then I'd have to mark out all the drilling points, this way I can offset the holes evenly just by touching the edge of the screws together when they're all the way down.

also, those self tappers are sharp every time, a drill bit dulls after about 200 holes.

the baffle i made is loud and low. I've noticed, the longer the pipe the higher the pitch. but if I wrap it in fiberglass it dumbs down (glasspack)

It cram-fits into a 2 1/4 inch pipe, and it's 6 inches long.

i made a ride-around video to see what it sounded like under acceleration.

That sounds awesome, what exhaust are you running? Any thoughts on fitting something like that to a 4-2 setup?

That's not a bad price for what's basically a custom sized and built muffler. Could you get some closer/more detailed pics of the flares and also show exactly how it fits into the 2.25" pipe? And then how is the end product attached to the header/pipes?

it's a yoshi header 4-1 with a cut down tail pipe.

yeah... make two of them.

kidding, pm me with your inside measurements to the hundredth. like (2.25)
I can't make them for megaphones unless I make them out of a flat sheet and roll em up.
too complicated to get right without the pipe in hand.
so I just don't do cones.

Nice work. Much more technical than our approach.

A few of us Duc boys took a low-tech approach and used sink strainers in repacked Emgos. They actually work and sound great:

I cut my exhaust with a pipe cutter, so it tapers in a bit then I cut the baffle down the center so it'll roll in. it just stays there.
the one in the picture is the first one I ever did. it is cracked, cause I didn't heat it first and I tried to bend it too fast.

I use a bolt to go thru a clip nut.

just to remind you , this is not a quiet baffle, it just makes it sound bad ass.

I found some perforated sheet metal at the hardware store. I'll use it to make the next one.

It's got to be a little quieter than the straight pipes I'm running.

I like the sound of my 650 with straight pipes but the straight-ed CM400T sounds like a damn Civic with a fart can. $:-\$ I'm hoping some type of baffle/muffler will change the sound. Though I may go with a pair of these...

Sounds to be like he cuts the baffle pipe down the longitudinal axis and then overlaps the cut ends.

I cut the gray piece in the video out of 2 inch pipe and and flared the end to 2 1/4

but mystic has it exactly- on how I've done some of them. the spring effect holds it in well that way. there is alot of trimming involved when you do the split, roll, spring, deal.
