NOOB in Brooklyn
« on: September 29, 2009, 09:58:18 PM »
Hi all,

Completely new to the world of motorcycles and the CB some how found me. I saw my bike in the street marked for removal by the sanitation department and decided I should roll it home. I've been busy the past few weeks stripping her down to a snoty old motor that refuses to turn over. I'm determined to at least find out why. I hope to get her running as a minimal ride or at least learn some things in the process. Nice to meet everyone.

Welcome from Westchester. You have your work cut out for ya. Interesting find, it may be hard to register it, but in NY we work stuff out  ;). You came to the right place for answers and support.

Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.

I'm in Brooklyn too.  Don't have a bike right now, but I want to learn more about working on these Hondas.  Let me know if you ever need a 2nd set of hands.
