Pics of me with my first bike

My mom just gave me these pictures. I didn't even know they existed.

These were taken in '78 or '79, not sure which.
First on is me, my mom, and i dunno who the hell that other kid is.
Second is me and our awesome German Shepherd, Luke.
Third is me tearin around on that little T70. That was a great little desert bike. Climbed like a freakin mountain goat.

Thats cool Mark! My first bike was a brand new 1977 Honda Xl75 with a Fulmer metalflake blue 3/4 helmet. I sure wish I had some pictures of it. ;)

        Hey, Great pictures Mark and it's ALWAYS good to see some of those old pictures pop up now and then. 8)

       These need to be put over in the motorcycle Memories on the Open Forum though, so they can more easily be located. BTW, I can well imagine that the 70 WAS a pretty good all-around bike as well! ;)

I had a hell of a good time on that bike, bill, for a long time.

By the way, I wish I still had that truck. I learned to drive stick shift in it even before that picture was taken.
Little ol' ford courier. Didn't stop running 'til some jackass decided to push it sideways with their desert monster truck 50 yards or so.
Actually, it still ran after that, too, but was kinda screwed up.....

When I was working a Honda parts counter(15? years ago) a guy came in and asked for a tack for a 3X5 card for our "For Sale" bulletin board.  I looked the card over and said "No.  Not until I ask my wife if I can buy it first".  And I still have it today.  1969(first year) CT70, red.  The same model/color as the first Honda I ever rode.
