Exhausts ??
« on: September 26, 2009, 08:09:48 pm »
Referring to 750s, what have people learned about exhaust systems, good or bad?

If one of us were building, for sake of discussion, a street bike from the ground up and had to pick an exhaust system, what would you have us pick, and why?

To be objective, do you have any dyno comparisons to support your choice?

Let's say performance is the only criteria, not center stand, oil filter access, blah blah...

Baseline might be either the  K  4-4 system  (-300-)  or the F 4-1.

Am most curious as to what people have accumulated for knowledge on this.

 thanks!

I would like to compare my Hindle with race baffle to a Kerker I have with a 2.5" comp baffle (I ran it with a 2" baffle). I probably will after building this next large engine.

The matter of exhausts interests me too. I've recently acquired a (NOS) Marving 4 into 1 off Ebay. I’ve no idea how this will perform, but for me the interesting feature of this manifold is the side-by-side collector configuration, rather than the more common two-over-two combining of the pipes. I was just wondering how these two configs compare?

I was put on Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!
