hello from Yorkshire 4000 mile 400f

Hello All,

I have recently bought a 4000 mile 400 four F2 from the original owner.  He laid it up in 1982.

It is now up and running.  I have bought a new exhaust system, a new front fender and a pair of mirrors.  Everthing else has cleaned up well apart from the chainguard.  It is pitted but will re-chrome if I cannot source a new genuine Honda item.

I have posted a couple of pics (hopefully)  I have more if anyone is interested.

I look forward to meeting other owners soon.

Hi Russ and welcome, great find you have there.

What is the original front mudguard like and do you want to sell it?

Like your day job  :o don't recall seeing a TV star on here before  ;)

Are we going to see a bike page on your website Russ?

BTW: pop over to www.sohc.co.uk as chat to the "UK Chapter". Same s/w so same look and feel. Use the same username so that we recognise you!

Thanks for the welcome. Great site!

My mudguard is dent free, rot free but slightly thin on chrome.  It would re-chrome to make a perfect item.  I will hang onto it until I make sure the replacement is up to scratch.

I look forward to meeting you on my travels.

See you on the UK site

Russ

Looks better than mine, I may be interested if you ever decide to sell it.
