Hello from Carpinteria...me & my CB 550
« on: September 30, 2009, 04:44:59 PM »
Hey there.
Name is Thom...I am here for info & improvements to my 74 CB550 Cafe that I recently had built to match my 1980 Lambretta Jet200.

I have been riding for about 40 years & also currently ride an 05 Triumph Thruxton & several different classic Vespas that I have done restorations & mods to.
Here is my CB as built by Dustin Kott in Santa Clarita Ca. (and the scooter that inspired it)

This bike runs like a top & was nicely put together.
I will be wanting a steering damper or fork brace & various bits (Fork mount speedo,suspension,etc.)....mostly just enjoying it.
Anyways....Hello

That is one beautiful bike. Welcome to the family.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?
