Hello all, name is Dan. Just recently was introduced into the world of Cafe racers and classic japanese bikes through a friend of mine. I've grown up around cars most of my life and most of my friends have sport bikes (which I was never really into.) I do all my own stunts (work) to my car and or projects. I've owned my 95 240sx for 3 years now and have put way to much time and effort into it, but what can I say motor vehicles are a passion of mine. I've taken the car up to Deals Gap (tail of the dragon) a few times to run the mountain roads and would really like to bring a bike up with me next time.
I'm really trying to track down a mid 70's CB750 to start a project of my own (need to finish my motor first though). Any tips for a first-timer would be neat!
Here are some pictures of my car and what its been through.
Here is after about a year worth of work (all suspension stuff, and sticky tires)

up in the mountains

Here is what happened last november

So instead of junking the car and getting the new shell, I save this one (I couldnt let it go!):

2 months ago, putting the car through hell again after the rebuild. sadly the motor lost oil pressure and I blew the motor on the way home. But its up and running again thanks to a junkyard motor.
