Topic: good news and bad news

ok so i got my wiring harness all in and wired up the ignition.turn the key and my headlight works high beam and then low beam and then pop goes the fuse so i replace it and only low beam comes on and no high beam shut the key off check the fuse again and turn the ignition back on and no headlight at all.It was a brand new halogen headlight from speed moto.Do you guys think i have burnt it out? then i put in some gas in the carb bowls throw the choke on hit the start button and she fired right up until it ran out of gas.Making progress today was a success with a minor glitch i hope.

i dont think it would go so soon. you could test the bulb for continuity, and test the plug .
that would tell you off the bat whats going on. then fallow it from there. i bet its just a loose connection somewhere. i had this happen on one of my bikes.
