Canadian Thanksgiving
« on: October 12, 2009, 04:34:52 PM »
To those in the Great White North. Happy Thanksgiving. I was listening to the Penguins pregame against the Senators and they were speaking with Tyler Kennedy whose family is from Sault St Marie. He was describing how his family was going to celebrate today. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

It feels like we are already in winter!! I spent my Thanksgiving weekend at my parents' cottage getting it ready for the annual close up. Nothing like wading chest deep in the lake when it is 5 degrees out trying to remove the dock when I can't feel my feet or hands!! Oh well the roast beef dinner helped warm me up...of course the Bacardi and cokes didn't hurt either!!!

Dennis

P.S. Thanks for the well wishes!
