New cb1100 honda retro?

Says in this press release below that it's a planned production vehicle. Nice! Almost the same as the red concept from previous posts       http://www.hondanews.info/news/en/corporate/c090930eng

i'd buy it. maybe get a set of removable hard bags and trunk, that might make a nice touring machine.

why does it always seem that when a company releases a beautiful tribute to a classic bike, people always want to run and clutter it all up with bags, windshields, and trunks/backrests?  There are plenty of hideous cruisers and Harleys to do that to...

The concept bikes (both the F and R) used the engine as a stressed member and did not have the more typical cradle frame that these pictures show.   That is a bit of a disappointment to me both aesthetically and as it seemed to signal a serious attempt by Honda to keep the weight down and keep the performance up.  Not a deal killer but a disappointment . . .Yes spoke wheels would be nice at least from an aesthetic standpoint . . .
