firstridecb500four

first ride today on my new 71 cb500/four. out into the country side to a small engine repair shop to get safety inspected. It passed.
great stuff and satisfying after resto and rebuild of motor etc due to a stretched primary chain and all the other stuff.
still has some issues to be addressed. It seems to like to hang revs when slowing down after running for sometime.
was constantly turning the idle screw out. Broke in  the motor  with long 5th gear pulls up hills and shutting down the throttle quickly on flats.
was told the condition of hanging idle is valves to tight. or air screws, there 1 turn out. or leaking carb connectors. or unbalanced carbs.
sync'd them with a morgan but will have a look. will check valves. set them to the spec but tight i think.
anything else?

Great looking bike, love the color.
That's what I'd like to hear.
