Here's my favorite. I'm laughing thinking about it. Lots of the boys will wear extra long shirts just so their asses aren't hanging out all the time. I seriously have seen kids walking around with their belts cinched tightly around the BOTTOM of their asses. The bottom, you know, where it's not your ass anymore, but your leg. Yeah, there. You know, that place where it becomes extremely difficult to walk. THEN you buy an extra long shirt to cover the fact that your skivvies are no longer under your pants, but above them. They need to make pants that velcro onto the bottom of your underwear so they stay in place.

My main pet peeve, is hats with the brims completely flat, tags still on them...and the hat just a little cockeyed...

I just want to walk up rip it off their head, give the brim a nice curve, and put it back on the RIGHT way.
HELL YES! Thank you!
Where I grew up, we always had farmer kids who came to school naturally smelling of the barns (those kids were tough, got up and milked the cows before school, did their homework, and everything) and they always wore their grimy John Deere (or whatever) trucker caps.  Sometime in high school, then, Ashton Kutcher wears a nice, straight John Deere hat and all of a sudden every trendy jock type is wearing one, even when those poor farm kids got a lot of #$%* for doing it first. ::)    I hate the straight-brimmed thing, too.  When you buy things, you take the stickers off. Period.

oh and the prison sagging thing is a lie. but is tawdry enough to get passed around anyway.

What we get to see around here that just endears me all to death are hipsters with TIGHT PANTS sagging.  How do you DO that and WALK?  Their boxers are ballooned out of the top of these oh-so-trendy boot cut pants, which are TIGHT around the bottom of their ass.  I don't care ow much emo/punk/goth jewelry you're wearing, you look like an idiot.

I've always been lame right with ya, Fuzzy.  Levi 501s, tee or tank and some kinda overshirt if it's cold. Chucks or docs.  Hat curved, but sometimes backwards. Gotta attempt to act my age. ;) :D

i say we need to do our part in perpetuating the prison/low pants thing in order to shame them into second guessing their clothing choices. besides, "lie" is such an ugly word. how about urban myth? get it...? urban myth!  :D

i'll start with my 30 year old brother.

I think you guys may be confusing the snopes article. The saggy pants thing really did come from prison garb.

The implied meaning you are a cruising homosexual if you do wear saggy pants is the "lie".

What my friends and I like to do is this. If i'm sitting at a red light, in my car, my seat positioned normally so I can actually drive right, my hat on forwards brim slightly curved etc etc....

Next thing you know, 17 year old in a beat up (civic, integra, you name it) pulls up next to me his seat ALL the way back, seatback reclined almost fully, sitting way down off to the side, one hand on the wheel, hat all cockeyed, music blaring enough so the cruddy speakers are distorting and his trunk is farting...

So what do we do...we recline our seats, slide way down, put our hats cockeyed, and give him gangsta signs, while i turn the radio to the oldies station and crank it! Hilarity every single freaken time!

Seconded. ...and yet, I keep seeing them, at least around work.  The guys who pop their collars also have huge cubic zirconiums sticking out of one ear.

Yeah, I thought state schools were created to be dirt cheap compared to private institutions of higher learning.
You sure you have that right?

As I am 18 years old, I find today's fashions comical as well, it's really funny being at a party when the cop's show up watching kids with there pants well past their ass trying to jump a fence.
That's what I'd like to hear.

I really really hope that the whole 4 popped collars is a joke pic...I know me and a few friends made gangsta poses in front of some guys lowered/bodykitted/modded Hyundai Accent when i was at RIT. We all put our hats crooked, half popped the collars and posed in front of if, got our pic taken...somehow it ended up on various forums with LOTS of people making fun of us thinking we were taking ourselves seriously, very funny stuff and i'll have to find that pic again. Can't believe that was 7 years ago lol.

Rainbow suspenders ala Robin Williams?  I'll never forget in the 80's when 'Robin Williams Live at the Met' debuted on HBO and he came out on stage wearing those cool, bright red Reebok hightops. Needless to say, I had to have a pair. I also had the matching pair in black, and on days when I got bored I'd wear a red on one foot, and a black on the other. ;D :D
