Brembo Floating Rotor Reconditioning
« on: October 12, 2009, 10:30:54 AM »
I am currently building tooling to install oversize bushings, for the floating rotor Brembo's. This is for a customer that specializes in Italian bike , huge supply of Laverda and other stuff.

These discs when worn, start rattling and clacking, and are quite annoying. The rotors are allowed to float on a 15mm bushing, the components will be remachined to fit a 16mm Stainless replacement and tighten them back up to stock specs.

The stack of rotors that we will be working on are all 80 mm ID, with a few diferent OD sizes.

Also they have been replating the rotors in the gold finish.

This will be happening very soon, will post more info/pricing, once we start actually cutting the  carriers and rotors.
