So lonesome..I could cry
« on: October 03, 2009, 07:07:37 PM »
It has boiled down to a point that I think that my wife  believes that I am here to take care of her whims$$$$$.  If she was a "loving" wife, I might have been more subduded, but it is not so.  Call me shallow or what you will.

I work 6-7 days a week and all she does is complain, and when she needs money then it's OK.
I am done with this. I have no need for someone who is only out for what they can get instead of what they can share.

I still love her but I want to be a lover not her "money daddy".

What the hell? ???

Sounds like you two didn't get to know each other very well.
Or, when times were good you got off on splashing it all around and she came to think that would be normal.
Or, both.
Just for educational purposes, what would she say?
Or, maybe she never sees you because you're always working ans only come home too tired to do anything but want sex and she is so lonesome she could cry but because she doesn't know how to verbalize her feelings she sublimates it all by contolling at least ONE thing and that's spending money. ?  (sort of like when people eat to feel better.  It's a form of self love)

That's all I got right now.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Toughen up mate, they're all like that, if they didn't have vagina's they'd be stacked 10 high at the dump...............  :P
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey, Burke. You seemed to have almost answered your own question(s).

Try suggesting a role reversal and/or insist on each of you having equal obligations and responsibilities and equitable disposable spending power etc...etc.. If she doesn't like that  ???, well, there are lots out there that wouldn't even need it explained to them.
