Anyone recognize my exhaust? Looking for exhaust baffles.
« on: October 05, 2009, 10:10:16 AM »
I am looking for some baffles for the exhaust that came on my bike, a 4-2 megaphone setup of unknown origin.  I figure I could use some universal baffles, or make some. I know this topic has been covered before but I thought Id ask for some insight for my particular exhaust system, here is a pic:

Its a little shorter than others I have seen (maybe cut down?).  Anyway, its loud as crap now but Id like to keep it on the loud side afterward (just not as angry :) ).  If i can buy some that will work id rather do that, but making them is an option.

that looks like a Mac 4 into 2
Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.

It didnt match any that I saw exactly, got a picture for reference?

Edit:  Found this picture of a 550 with similar exhaust, looks almost identical except for the primaries being at a different angle under the frame (could be an install difference I guess).  Nice silencers :)  Still dont know what kind it is though.

Try dynoman.net, he has Kerker baffles. Your's are not Kerker, but the megaphone taper looks close and you could probably make them work. The competition baffle is best!!

Hope this helps,

Thanks guys, Ill take a look at those baffles you mentioned also HB.  Gabriel, I dont think any 550's came with a 4-2 stock.  Jardines look the closest now, although I dont have that weird silencer in the end like I have seen on them.
