Do you remove your oil pan before jacking up bike?

I just bought a motorcycle lift at Harbor Freight. The frame doesn't lay flat on the jack because of the oil pan. Should I remove the pan, or will it be ok if I jack it up as is?

It should be ok, but if you're very concerned for your pan, use a few wooden blocks or hockey pucks to fill the gap between jack and frame rails.
