Need mirrors for cafe. Bar ends wont work.
« on: October 07, 2009, 10:37:12 AM »
I have clip ons and my stock master cyclinder is as close to the fork tube as possible.  My right side controls are butted up against the MC which which leaves the grip about an inch to long for the clip on tube.  I wanted a nice mirror set up and bar ends seem to be the solution but I dont think they will work because the grips extend past the ends of the handlebars.  Is there a tasteful solution?  A nice small mirror for the stock location on the left side?  I would like to see some pictures of your setup. Thanks

Maybe something like this?  I am sure you could find it in chrome as well.

also search for Rizoma mirrors.  Great Italian stuff, but pricey....

what clip ons are you using and what MC are you using? I have Tarozzi and Paulo clip ons with a GSXR 750 MC (1990's) and bar ends.

One option is to extend the bars by welding a pipe on. Also seen guys take the OEM mirrors and bend the neck to make the mirror run parallel with the bars.

I am runing the stock MC (round aluminum cyl.) and stock controls.  Right now I have the stock mirror on the left side.  It looks alright actually.  I did have to do some bending to get it in the right position.  Not bad but I have to do some more.
