Loony,

very cool video!

I thought you sold your bike and quit this very special CB biking world!

I kept waiting for him to brake out the old Honda and get her going again!

I did sell the bike, but I'm still here occasionally. When I saw this vid (which was posted on a photography forum) and noticed the CB I had to post it here!

I kept waiting for him to brake out the old Honda and get her going again!

Yeah that would have been good wouldn't it!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Keep your eye out, he probably left that 750 under a tree somewhere for one of us to find twenty years later. ;D
Waves to Looney, good to see you here girl. ;)

Good to see ya here, Loony!  ;D

Cool video, thanks!

How're your folks?  Still riding the Sprint?  We did two moderately long trips recently, and I thought of them.

Hi Medic!

Haven't been on here for a while.

Dad ended up getting a nearly new BMW RT1200 recently - he doesn't like the newer sprint's so much but his older one was getting a bit high mileage. I think he likes a lot about the beemer, but there's also some things he doesn't like (like if it goes wrong it goes expensively wrong!).

He was thinking about a new Triumph Thunderbird, the 1600cc model that's just come out - but he tried it and didn't like it, thought it was way overpriced for something that wouldn't stand out in a crowd, also the pillion seat was awful.

My big Piaggio scooter is still going well though - coming up for it's 18,000 mile/3 year service and hasn't missed a beat - unlike Dad's Beemer when the fancy tyre valve broke and because it was a fancy BMW airpressure monitoring one he couldn't get it replaced for ages... >:( ::).
