anyone seen inglorious bastids?

i'm a big time quentin tarentino fan, wondering if it's as good as his others

I just watched it last night.  It was pure Tarentino.  I loved it.  There was a lot of violence, and a lot of subtitles....in case you didn't know already. :)

   I was listening to the radio Thursday morning, they were talking about how they were showing sneak previews in Germany.  And they were loving it, ironically.

Pretty much modern Tarantino: lots of dialogue that shows off his knowledge of prewar German cinema, punctuated by all-too-brief moments of glorified, excessive violence.

Ending is cathartic and badass, though.

I really liked it, although I was surprised that the soundtrack is not as good as I had hoped.  Cat People (Putting out the Fire) by Bowie was the highlight of the film.   Good flick.
