Oil leak... What is this?

Have an oil leak underneath left side of engine(near gear shifter). It's coming out of this hole and I'm not sure what's supposed to go there. Inherited this project from a guy so not sure what's up.

If you guys know what's missing in the pic that would be great!

that's your neutral safety switch.
edit: a green wire goes on there.
that bolt with the little flange on it lets it fall out the bottom I think.

There is an o-ring on the switch, try replacing it when you change oil.
