motorcycle pants

well getting close to that time and now I actually get to ride more than 5 miles! So I want to get some riding pants. I want something that I can wear over my jeans of shorts. I would figure textile would work best for that. Anyone got brands they like that do this? Something less than ungodly expensive.

I noticed there is a big difference in fit/cut among brands.  I have some First Gear pants that weren't too expensive, and have worked well for the last two years.  I got the mesh pants with a removeable rain liner.  In the crazy summer heat here they work fine over a pair of slacks, and in the rain they have kept me dry for short (10-60 miles) runs with the liner in.

Then, of course, there's Aerostich...

I have the Joe Rocket Alter Ego jacket, going to get the pants.  Waterproof liner, some protection over the hip bones and knees, and great mesh vent ports.  somewhere around $100 if you buy online.
