750 K0 carb part needed desperately.
« on: October 12, 2009, 11:58:43 PM »
While in the middle of reassembling my '70 K0 carbs, I was compressing the spring in the slide assembly and slipping the other parts over it and lost my grip, next thing, the spring and several other parts are launched all over my garage, one of which has yet to be found; the little washer with a raised lip that fits over the end of the spring. Looked, and it appears that the part is no longer available from Honda, and from what I can tell from the Fiche, is a K0-only part. Without, no more riding for me this season. Anybody have a a pile of carb parts lying around or some other suggestion for me? You'd be my hero. This post could also be titled "why you've never heard the phrase" carbs and cocktails""

16151-300-303 Try Western hills Honda but ring them rather than use the website as not all listed is available but they do have some really old/odd stock
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

No luck, tried Western Hills, my local dealer, the only result when you google the part number, nothing. Does anyone have one of these things?
