Spark Plug Modification????????? Anyone tried this?

I just saw this on Cycle X website. Cut off 3/16" off the sparkplug electrode then reinstall and you have what is called side firing plugs. Has anyone tried this. I need to change my plugs now but was thinking about cleaning my old ones up to try this and see if I can tell a difference. Any input welcaome.

I saw that myself which got the curiosity going.
Haven't tried it but was going to at some stage.
Ken at Cyclex knows his stuff and has been around for a while.
Give it a tryout and let us know how it goes.
