Beautiful bike, were the exposed front springs originally like that or were there rubber boots covering them?

2V in OMRRA.

I wont be racing that bike, though, I don't think. Another forum member will. I'll be on a cb350t in 5V.

Thanks! The 66 through 68s had chrome, exposed springs. 69 t250s had rubber gaiters.
