2009 Slimey Crud Run

So who plans on being there this spring? I just did a 300 mile ride on the 350 yesterday as a sort of "trial run" to see how I handled the distance. Aside from a few small bike issues everything went ok so if the weather is nice, I should be there.

I'll be coming up from Iowa tomorrow. Going to stay the night. Can't wait there's such great roads up there! I'll be with my friends on my blue K5 750 they will be riding a Moto Guzzi ev11, Yamaha XY Radian & a Suzuki GS500 if you see us say hi!

Correction it will be just me on Sunday riding up. Anybody riding up form IA or Western IL?

I would go but I went into the ditch yesterday on the 350 and now the front end is a little tweaked :(

Sorry to hear that I hope you and the bike and ok. I almost did the same thing I forgot to put up my kickstand.. :-[  a turn came up went into a lean and couldn't lean anymore, was able to kick up the stand inches from the edge of the road.

As for the Crud Run I got up there a little late had chain problems the became chain became junk  I learnt how to work on the bike with the tool kit while out on the road. I did get up though got to see all the bikes leaving. Saw a orange K5 750 and a red CB 400 and lots of other cool bikes going the opposite way. Had a fun trip minus the whole chain thing and of almost loosing it because I'm a huge idiot thing. lol

Sunday ...CRUD RUN!!! Weather looks good. I'm leaving my house at 7:30 sharp. I would like to get there by 10(ish), so whoevere is coming better get their #$%* together. In??
